The Public Theater's acclaimed new emo-rock satire Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson has extended its run for a second time. The show, written and directed by Alex Timbers and featuring music and lyrics by Michael Friedman, opened on April 6 was previously slated to close on May 9. The production will now run through May 30.
An original off-Broadway cast recording is also in the works with Ghostlight Records, though the release date has yet to be announced.
